Denise Greenwood is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who graduated from University of South Florida in 2000. With over 20 years of experience, she has had the privilege of helping individuals navigate the complexities, challenges and possibilities of their lives. She believes that everyone’s life is a story, and therapy provides the opportunity to bring that unique narrative into focus.
If you choose to work with Denise, she will explore with you what healing and health looks like for you. Your goals, values, and lived experiences will guide the process. She views therapy as an open, reflective collaboration - one that honors the richness of your internal world while encouraging you to take a central, empowered role in your own growth.
In her own words: “Whether you are seeking support through a difficult transition, hoping to understand long-standing patterns, or wanting to create a more intentional and meaningful life, I offer a grounded, compassionate space where your story can be heard, explored, and rewritten in ways that feel authentic to you.”

Denise uses approaches that integrate mindfulness based therapies, Compassion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These approaches allow the exploration of both the internal landscape of thoughts and emotions and the broader storylines that shape how you see yourself and the world.
