Whitney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her Master’s in Social Work. She has experience working with children, teens, adults, family systems and couples, and she enjoys the unique challenges and strengths that come with each age and life stages.
Some of her areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, attachment, relationship issues, behavioral management, family conflict, life transitions, and challenges related to coparenting/divorce.
She utilizes evidence-based treatments, such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, TF-CBT and other modalities to address trauma symptoms, problem behaviors, and other mental health concerns.
In her own words: “I want to offer you a safe space where you or your loved one can feel free to be yourself and express yourself exactly as you are without judgment. Together, we can face the challenges that brought you to therapy and help you feel in control and at peace as you move forward.”

Lori is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy, and works with adolescents, adults, and aging adults. She has received training in serious mental illness, substance abuse, differently-abled individuals and chronic pain. Her areas of expertise include individuals with anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, adjustment issues, trauma, and grief. She has an eclectic approach, incorporating therapeutic techniques that focus on each individual in a culturally sensitive, non-judgmental environment.
She is trained as a music therapist and implements expressive arts therapy into her practice when applicable. Some of the treatment modalities used are CBT, DBT, Gottman’s couples’ methodology, mindfulness, TF-CBT and other modalities to address trauma symptoms, problem behaviors, and other mental health concerns.
Lori is also trained in EMDR.

Emireth is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated from The University of Vermont with her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. She is working towards her LPC licensure and is expected to take her licensing exam soon. She loves working with people of all ages, from children to older adults, and families too.
She's passionate about helping people navigate through different stages of their lives and is skilled at handling any challenge that life may bring. She enjoys working with people who struggle with mood disorders, trauma, attachment, relationship issues, life transitions, family conflict, personality disorders, and more.
She uses evidence-based and humanistic approaches like CBT, DBT, Gestalt, EFT, and SFBT to help people overcome challenges in their lives and address symptoms of these difficulties that may prevent them from living authentic and meaningful lives.
In her own words “I believe therapy is a place to be lovingly challenged for the purpose of growth and avoiding complacency and stagnation. I can offer an outside perspective from a place of care that can push you to become the best version of yourself possible.”

As the Office Manager at Invicta Wellness Center, Karen Tutone is the first welcoming face our patients meet and an invaluable pillar of our team. She brings exceptional professionalism, calm organisation, and genuine kindness to everything she does, ensuring each person who walks through our doors feels supported from the very start.
Deeply passionate about mental health and the service of others, Karen approaches her work with both heart and purpose. Her dedication extends far beyond the workplace. As a mother of four, she has homeschooled her children with remarkable patience and commitment. She is an active member of her church community, a lifelong musician, and a former children’s choir leader—roles that reflect her creativity, compassion, and love for nurturing others.
Karen is, quite simply, someone who pours love into people, pets, family, community, and colleagues alike. Her warmth strengthens our practice, and her presence enriches the lives of those around her.

Sara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the University of New England in 2013 with a Master’s in Social Work. She has experience working with children, teens, adults, and those in their golden years. Some of her previous experiences include working in community health care with at-risk populations, and with domestic violence victims for the Department of Defense. Her areas of expertise are those struggling with trauma, anxiety, stress and transitional changes, family and relational conflict, and self-esteem. Sara particularly enjoys working with military service members, their families, and those who are searching for a more holistic approach to their mental health care.
She uses evidence-based therapies including CBT, PE, ACT, mindfulness, meditation and guided imagery, with a strengths-based approach. Her goal is to help her clients overcome the obstacles that are holding them back so that they can become more comfortable in their daily lives, bodies, and relationships. She provides a non-judgmental environment and safe space while supporting their healing journey.
Deborah Elder, LCSW
Deborah is a licensed psychotherapist who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005 in the United States. She has over 15 years’ experience providing therapy to adults, families and children. She was born in Paris, France, spent 30 years as an expat in the US, and has now returned to her home country. With personal experience in both adapting to life in a foreign country and readapting after many years abroad, Deborah has deep insight into the challenges of not always “fitting in.” She is passionate about supporting the expat community and understands the nuances of cultural differences and adaptation.
Deborah provides individual, family, and couples counseling for young adults, adults, and aging adults, with a particular focus on expats and their families. She uses evidence-based techniques tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Deborah’s certifications include Adoption Therapy and training in Family Systems, nutrition and mental health, co-parenting, post-partum depression, CBT, DBT, Gottman Method (level 2), and EMDR, mindfulness and many others. Her areas of expertise extend to depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, trauma, ADHD, behavior management, divorce, family dynamics, life transitions, and pre/post-adoption issues.
Now based in the south of France, Deborah offers remote/virtual counseling for clients both locally and internationally. She is dedicated to helping individuals overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling lives, emphasizing that therapy is a highly individualized journey.
In her own words: “Therapy is not a cure; it is an individual journey which requires an individualized approach. I strive to improve the lives of the individuals I work with, and I will work with you to overcome what stands in the way of a fulfilling life.”
